David y Carla are absolutely wonderful. Very professional, kind engaging, and clearly great at what they do. We knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding when we saw their style of photos: very natural, bright, and vibrant. Everything in the planning process was very smooth - digital contract, very modern website, blogs with tips, form to communicate our preferenes. We also had a call with them prior to the wedding to talk through the plan for the day and highlight any particular moments or shots we wanted. It was also perfect that they are two photographers and that it was so easy to book additional services, e.g., video and drone shots. From when they arrived at the venue, they got to work, taking photos of our suits and dresses while we prepared for the 'getting ready' shots - not a moment wasted! Absolutely loved how David pounds his chest to get the attention of guests and get them to refocus. Very efficient at taking group pictures and wonderfully in the background to capture candid, authentic moments. We appreciate how long a wedding day is - from the getting ready, ceremony, drinks, dinner, and party - and David y Carla never let up in their energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism. We first met David and Carla at our friend’s wedding in Paris, and we were immediately drawn to their energy, creativity, and friendly demeanor. They are so much fun! Our friends spoke so highly of their experience that it was an easy decision to have them capture our own wedding in Denia, Spain. We were so thrilled they were available! We chose Carla and David as photographers for our wedding because of their amazing energy. When we talked to them beforehand it was a conversation filled with great ideas, good energy and an understanding of what we wanted. We opted in for video as well and they brought along Guillem for videography and David also ran their drone over the wedding. This gave some amazing footage for our wedding video 😍 David is always challenging you to make sure you have a great variety of wedding photos and to make sure you have some funny pictures as well. We loved it! After taking amazing photos of the ceremony, cocktail and dinner, the team really integrated into our party and got amazing shots of our guests! Excelentes profesionales. David y Carla hacen equipazo! Fueron cercanos y profesionales, consiguieron captar cada momento sin que apenas nos diésemos cuenta de que estaban por allí, además nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos. Vimos sus trabajos y nos decidimos por ellos para nuestra boda, nos gustó mucho su estilo, actual, fresco y natural. Sabíamos que el resultado iba a ser bueno, lo que no nos esperábamos es que de principio a fin fueran tan bonitas y tan especiales nuestras fotos… Nos cuesta elegir favoritas. Además, por si fuera poco, después de terminar con las fotos Carla se quedó en la barra libre con su servicio de tatuajes, que quedaron increíbles. Sencillamente impresionante, contamos con Carla y David para nuestra boda, y fue justo lo que esperábamos: fotos y video con mucha calidad que retratan todos los momentos que vivimos y que nos permiten recordar la boda tal y como sucedió. Además son dos magníficas personas y profesionales, 10/10

Guillem came with them to support them in the realization of the video. They do all the work to your liking, taking into account your preferences and with a lot of empathy and sense of humor. Contratar a David y a Carla fue una de las primeras decisiones que tomé en la organización de nuestra boda, una muy importante porque al final las fotos y el vídeo son el recuerdo tangible que te queda de tu gran día y no solo cumplieron las altas expectativas que tenía sino que las superaron. Desde el minuto uno sentí una conexión brutal con ellos y no hablo del día de la boda, me refiero a las conversaciones que mantuvimos, a responder a mis dudas, mis inseguridades (porque tanto mi pareja como yo pensábamos que nos sentiríamos cohibidos delante de las cámaras y que eso empañaría el reportaje). Y esa sensación solo se multiplicó en cuanto entraron por la puerta de la habitación. David y Carla son unos grandes profesionales, se "cuelan" en todos los momentos importantes sin que seas consciente captando la naturalidad que buscaba con el reportaje. (de verdad es increíble cómo están a tu alrededor, sin molestar, atentos a todo). Y con el reportaje, ese momento que temíamos, fue todo TAN FÁCIL, ellos lo hicieron tan fácil que no puedo dejar de agradecérselo. Generan muy buen rollo, todos nuestros invitados nos mencionaron lo simpáticos (se nota cuando alguien disfruta de su trabajo, y ellos lo dieron todo) y trabajadores que les parecieron y después, el resultado es INCREÍBLE. No puedo dejar de mirar las fotos, de ver el vídeo... son un fiel reflejo de todas las emociones que vivimos. Gracias por todo David, Carla, Guillem, no pararé de recomendaros. De verdad echad un vistazo a sus trabajos en su web porque estoy segura que son lo que estáis buscando.

My fiancé and I traveled from the US to beautiful Altea where we took our engagement pictures with David and Carla. It was such an amazing experience to be in such a beautiful country with fantastic photographers! They both were extremely professional and responsive. Great Experience! David & Carla really kow what they are doing! Even setting up the meeting via e-mail was super easy. They really made us feel comfortable during the shoot. They scouted out the location on forehand so they knew the best places. They took every opportunity to make the best out of the light and location. Afterwards they deliverd the photo's super fast! Nos casamos el pasado 19/02/2022, y ellos se encargaron tanto de la fotografía como del vídeo. Estamos encantados con el resultado del reportaje, así como con su presentación, no nos cansamos de verlos. Y además la entrega fue muy rápida. David y Carla son un amor, enseguida conectamos con ellos (no sólo profesionalmente, sino también personalmente), y lo tuvimos claro nada más conocerles y ver algunos de sus trabajos previos. ¡Servicio de cinco estrellas!

We met David & Carla thanks to Google Maps. We used to live in Valencia, in the very same neighbourhood they were also living and at that time we started planning our wedding. When we found them, and discovered their website, we immediately fell in love with their style! We loved their long and funny texts, we loved the fact that they share so many stories and anecdotes about themselves and about the newly-weds they photograph, we loved their spontaneous pictures, we loved the fact that they are 2 and that they are a lovely couple. What makes these photographers so special is that we loved them as well as we loved the style of their pictures! David has a perfect level in English and Carla understands it very well too. It was a bonus for us as we are French and we feel more comfortable in English than Spanish.
We met them in person in Valencia before our wedding that took place in Paris (France). They flew over-there just for us (and they can go anywhere!!) and we are sooo happy with the pictures (just have a look at them! We’re pretty sure you’ll find them awesome!). We were (and we’re still) amazed! During the wedding, they were so discreet that we almost haven’t notice their presence. But they were everywhere!! And they haven’t missed a single key moment! We highly appreciated this aspect. Thanks to their “photographer’s eye”, we discovered lot of details we missed the D-Day (as we were focused on other things, you know, time flies when you are the bride and groom), and it moved us. We are sure we wouldn’t have been able to find better photographers. They exceeded our expectations! If you’re still hesitating, just go grab a cup of coffee with them. They are accessible, very easygoing (but still always professional) and so kind, they will make sure to answer all questions you have.

I can't speak positively enough about David and Carla - what a pair! From the moment I reached out on Instagram, they were so responsive, friendly and kind. And, full of ideas! Our wedding was postponed twice due to the pandemic and they were in-touch with me throughout. It was so great to finally meet them in October and they were just fantastic. We have so many amazing pictures to remember our day!

Absolutamente recomendables. Nuestra boda fue el pasado 02/10/2021 y sin duda son los mejores profesionales para reflejar el mejor día de vuestras vidas. Nos quedamos con la naturalidad de las fotos, los juegos de luz y la calidad de la fotografía. Además nos hicieron sentirnos cómodos en todo momento, lo que hizo que todo fluyera desde la primera foto de la sesión preboda hasta la última foto del día "B". David y Carla, sois magníficos!!

David y Carla son simplemente maravillosos, unos grandes profesionales. Con sus fotografias, nos han quedado unos preciosos recuerdos de nuestra boda, de nuestros momentos, captados con mucha naturalidad y mimo, nada de posados forzados. Y eso no es todo, son buenisimas personas, derrochan simpatia y humildad. Nosotros somos timidísimos ante las cámaras, pero con ellos es como si no hubiera ninguna cámara delante. Estamos infinitamente agradecidos y felices de haber dado con ellos para nuestro día. El resultado, de 10, de principio a fin. Volveriamos a confiar en ellos con los ojos cerrados. Son totalmente recomendables.

David & Carla Review : We hired David & Carla as our photographer & videographer for our wedding day on 13th October 2019. As an English couple wanting their wedding in Spain, we were concerned there would be a language barrier & cultural issue when choosing a photographer. Because of our concerns we asked to meet David & Carla a year ahead of the wedding to see if we got on with them well and speak to them about what we wanted for our day. David spoke perfect English and they were both so lovely and friendly. We knew we had to have them for our wedding. I think David & Carla were one of the best things we could have done for our wedding. The day before the wedding they asked if they could come and take photos of us with our friends and family free of charge, which we were absolutely over the moon with. On the wedding day they literally did not stop all day, videoing & taking photos & they were so natural & they came up with so many different & amazing ideas, they just blended in with our day completely. Nothing was too big or too small for them, we asked them to provide us with at least 200 photos for us for our wedding party back in England the week after & they managed it within 4 days after the wedding & they even managed to do us a short trailer of our wedding video which was above and beyond what we expected. Everyone from the party commented on how beautiful the photos were and how natural they look. When we received the whole run of photos and the long video, they arrived in a tote bag with our initials hand sewn on & a box with a few photos printed off, a painting of one of our photos, tea, magnets with our star signs on & a memory stick with a lovely instruction note tied to it, everything was handmade and such a perfect last little touch. They had captured every moment and every last detail of the whole day. The photos & video are completely natural. We are so happy & pleased with how our photos & video have turned out. We will look back on our wedding day with the most amazing memories through the video & photos they have taken. Thank you so much David & Carla for capturing our day. We are beyond satisfied of our wedding experience with David , Carla and d'Althea photography ! Our number one request was that all pictures would feel natural, that the people at the wedding would not feel pressured under the lens and that the overall mood had to be easy-going. Those request were met ! Not only did they make us feel comfortable but they were so cool and friendly. Both of them always smile and no mather the organizational changes they adapted swiflty and efficiently. They listened to our photo concepts and needs and applied our request in their shooting. We received the pictures rapidly both physically and digitally.
