Also wirklich, nichtmal in Deutschland so ein gutes indisch/nepalesisches Restaurant gegessen. Und der Service ist 10/10, so freundliche und herzliche Menschen selten gesehen. Absolute Empfehlung!

No conocíamos nada de la comida nepalí y nos ha encantado. Con mucho sabor, textura suave y rica y a quien le guste el picante… que se atreva!! Para los que no nos gusta el picante tenemos diferentes opciones a cada cual más rica, y también cuentan con opciones vegetarianas. Volveremos sin duda.

Comida en familia y decir que ha sido todo un acierto. Pedimos dos menús (13.5€) y con eso comimos bien dos adultos y dos niñas. La comida muy sabrosa. A destacar también la excelente atención. Seguramente repetiremos.

Decidimos ir por primera vez a probar la comida, hemos acabado yendo dos días seguidos, la comida muy rica. La atención de los camareros genial. Nos dejamos recomendar por la camarera y acertó totalmente, recomiendo de entrante dahi puri, el pan de queso y normal, el pollo tikimasala, también probamos una cerveza típica, cobra, rica y suave. Lo recomiendo. El precio ronda unos 17-22€ por persona y acabas llenísimo.

No tenía ninguna expectativa en el lugar, pero llegué y el ambiente perfecto, estábamos solos pero el lugar y compañía de 10. Nos sirvió una camarera maravillosa, super amable, Manuba se llamaba Nos pedimos el menú del día, 13.50, ahí no paraban de llegar cosas, yo no sé cuantos platos comen allí pero que cantidad de ingredientes por comida, vaya memoria para ir a hacer la compra. La comida buenísima, nos encantó, el chicken tikka masala estaba buenísimo, me esperaba dolor de barriga luego de comer pero todo lo contrario, me considero adicto al chicken tikka masala, necesito más y más. Hoy volví pero estaba cerrado, se me partió el corazón. Mañana es mi último día aquí y pienso volver y pedirme lo mismo. En resumen 10/10.

Sitio muy tranquilo y acogedor, el personal trabajador es muy amable y atento, está en un sitio fuera del bullicio de la gente, cerca del paseo marítimo pero no dentro de él, así te quitas del agobio de gente que hay en verano. La comida riquísima y de precio contenido.

Die Kellnerin war sehr nett und hat geduldig uns erklärt was die verschiedenen Gerichte bedeuten. Preisleistung hat auch gestimmt. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😍

Menuda joya que hemos encontrado en Torrox Costa. La comida india más deliciosa que he probado nunca, y he ido a bastantes indios. Muy bien aconsejados por el Sr. Rodriguez, la cena fue una pasada. Nos gustó muchísimo el Cordero Norba, y el pollo al curry y tikka masala. Los arroces en su punto. Rápidos, muy amables. Volveros a probar más platos de la carta muy pronto.

Such a fabulous curry house with both exceptionally friendly service and food. We were encouraged to try the restaurant after searching Tripadvisor for gluten free friendly places and we most certainly were not disappointed We sat outside in a shaded area which was comfortable with delightful surroundings of palm trees and parrots, and we were met by the lovely lady hostess who spoke excellent English. Whilst looking at the menu, the complimentary popadoms and dips were a wonderful start - the authenticity of the dips were outstanding. The menu is vast and very clearly labelled showing gluten, nuts and dairy advisories. This makes things sooo much easier when you have food intolerances and there was so much choice - 85% of the menu was gluten free. The Aloo chat and small kebab starters arrived incredibly prettily presented and the tastes - were delectable! My daughter who isn't terribly keen on Indian food (in the uk) was a total convert and was oooing and arrring over how wonderful it was. We're gutted we didn't take photos of starters as they were so pretty, but we dove straight in as they looked so exciting. Our main courses - mango chicken korma and lamb rogan Josh with pilau and cheesy garlic naan were also just perfect and generous portions - and the quality of the meat was exceptional. We were checked on several times to ensure we were happy with everything and the attention and service was appreciated. We can highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly go back if we can squeeze another visit in before returning home.

Comida absolutamente increíble; sin duda, recomendaría a todos probarla al menos una vez, y sin duda volveremos. Para mí, los mejores platos del menú fueron Dahi Puri, Newari Choila, Pahadi Chicken Tikka, Momo, Fulki y Biryani. ❤️🤌

Wir machen momentan Urlaub in Torrox und wollten indisch essen gehen. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut. Es wurde oft gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung wäre. Die Preise sind top. Würden hier wieder her kommen.

Wir sind wegen der positiven Bewertung hier eingekehrt. Vom Service bis zum leckeren Essen,es gab aber auch überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln. Es war definitiv nicht der letzte Besuch hier.

Absolutely fabulous Indian/Nepalese restaurant with extremely nice and friendly staff. The street food starter Fulki we had was the best dish we had in months. Without a doubt the best Indian food I have eaten in Spain. Service from Bipin and his staff is impeccable. The menu choices are varied with some original favourites. The quality of the food is on point. Spiced to perfection and every ingredient is easy to identify. That coupled with service that truly cares and rarely found these days, makes this a real Gem. Waren gestern dort nach 2023 nochmal Essen und es war wieder Spitze, die Besitzer waren super freundlich auch mit den Kindern. Das Knoblauch Käse Naan und der Raitja war das beste was ich je gegessen habe. Rundum war es ein toller Abend dort. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Je me suis régalé au Pahuna Nepalese and Indian Restaurant à Torrox. J'ai rarement mangé aussi bien. Les plats typiquement népalais, comme les momos et les currys, étaient délicieux et tout était parfait. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable et attentif sans être envahissant. Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle ! Un incontournable si vous passez dans le coin.

My wife and i are on holiday and were looking for a nice restaurant to have a meal .we were a little hesitant as my wife is not a big fan of hot spicey Indian food anyway we decided to eat here after speaking to another tourist who also highly recommended this restaurant.The food was very very good.my wife was delighted with the help she had choosing her meal it was a beautiful meall .the staff service was excellent also nothing was to much trouble to make your meal special and the price was very reasonable as well Honestly it was a great meal and a great night I would highly recommend Pahuna 👌

Jedes Gericht war frisch zubereitet, voller Aromen und unglaublich gut gewürzt – besonders die Momos und das Dal Bhat haben mich umgehauen. Man schmeckt, dass hier mit viel Liebe und authentischen Zutaten gekocht wird. Auch für Vegetarier gibt es eine tolle Auswahl. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und hat uns gern durch die Speisekarte geführt. Man merkt, dass hier Menschen arbeiten, die ihre Kultur und Küche mit Stolz teilen möchten. Un descubrimiento fantástico. Nos gusta la comida india pero tampoco somos unos expertos, pero todo lo que pedimos allí está buenisimo. Imprescindibles el pollo Tika Massala, los langostinos con salsa de anacardos, el Dahi Puri que está que te mueres y el pan de queso que está espectacular...... De verdad q merece la pena acercarse si está por la zona y como prueba ade ello pongo como quedaron los platos... Y la atención de 10!!

The staff were fantastic, incredibly friendly and warm - talked about Nepal and tips on how to eat Dahi Puri starter (as a novice to Nepalese and Indian food). I had Prawn Jalfrezi which was just perfect. The staff couldn't have done any more to make my meal better, friendly conversation, pleasant vibes and decent music pumping out of the stereo - I sat outside, after a day of hiking. I hope to come back to the area, and will definitely eat again. You will be treated so well by the staff, and the food is tremendous.

We have been in Torrox for 3 weeks, so have tried most of the restaurants, but this one is head and shoulders above the rest. We had a month in India in April, travelling from east to west, and nothing compared to the food that we were served in this restaurant. It is amazing and definitely one that you should try.

Reihe", also etwas entfernt von der Strandpromenade gelegen, aber jeder Schritt dorthin lohnt sich - u.a. auch gerade wegen der etwas ruhigeren Umgebung. Reservierung kann über WhatsApp erfolgen. Die Betreiber reagieren sofort und sind sehr freundlich, auch die Schärfe der Gerichte kann man "verhandeln", falls notwendig. Alles ist reichlich, das Naan / die Poppadoms knusprig & das (gezapfte!) Monday night Takeaway Unfortunately Budha House our favourite restaurant was closed on a Monday, so we tried Pahuna. The food was excellent, including the padhu tikka lamb and the garlic chicken tikka. The mushroom rice, chilli, coriander nans and Bombay aloo were all great quality. Thanks for a lovely family meal

Had a lovely meal here last night, 6 of us had arrived and had a mixture of starters and mains. I have a nut allergy and made this aware to the staff and my needs were catered too with a lovely curry similar to one which had nuts. This is a new favourite for when we come here highly recommend.

Wir waren gestern spontan das erste Mal im Pahuna, sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Empfang und Service sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit bei der großen Speisekarte. Gruß aus dem Küche, Starter und Hauptgang wirklich großartig. Es war ein rundum, leckerer, entspannter Abend. Wir kommen wieder und empfehlen euch auf alle Fälle weiter.

Das Essen war lecker und preiswert, der Service freudlich, Ambiente war sehr sauber. Haben spontan einen Tisch bekommen. Für spätes Abendessen ist es ratsam einen Tisch zu reservieren. Gehen gern wieder hin.

Nous étions venus l'année dernière et nous avons tellement aimé que nous sommes revenus cette année à plusieurs reprises. Nous avons pris une entrée Dahi Puri (photo) differents plats à base de poulet, un riz biryani, un plat végétarien. Le tout accompagné de naans et de différents riz. Nous avons voyagé avec toutes ces saveurs en bouche et à un prix raisonnable:-) Les serveurs sont souriants, à l'écoute et très serviables. Le tout dans une ambiance familiale, décontractée avec enfants admis. Une chose est sûre on y retournera encore :-)

Great to find an Nepalese/Indian restaurant in our family trip away to Torrox Costa. The food was amazing and the service A+. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend this restaurant. They accommodated all 23 of us and without fuss. I would recommend the padahi chicken or lamb, but be wary of the spice, I'm a spice head I loved it. Not a single complaint from anyone.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich in Torrox Costa den besten Inder finde bei dem ich je war. Das Ambiente und die Lage lassen nicht vermuten WIE GUT dieses Restaurant ist. Der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen und wir wurden sogar noch um 21:45 freundlich empfangen. Das Essen war von den Vorspeisen bis zu den Hauptgerichten allemal 5 Sterne wert und kann wirklich mit High Class Restaurants mithalten. Am Ende waren wir sogar noch positiv überrascht über den Rechnungsbetrag. Wirklich eine Empfehlung von Herzen! Das sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen

Sehr nette Bedienung, mit Abstand das beste Essen aus der Umgebung, viel Auswahl, große Portionen, auf keinen Fall vom ersten Eindruck abschrecken lassen es lohnt sich!!!

Eso si, hay que ir temprano para poder degustarlo tranquilamente, porque al decirnos que “la cocina cierra a las 15:30h.” Entendimos y asumimos que a partir de esa hora no podríamos pedir nada más, pero no es eso, es el restaurante lo que cierra porque abren pronto por la tarde :-)

La carta, sobre todo los entrantes, tiene comida que no suele estar en los restaurantes indios normales. El Dahi Puri es una locura, imprescindible. Una bomba para los sentidos. Es como alta cocina, nivel indio-nepalí. Los currys muy ricos, y el pan de queso y ajo riquísimo y lleno de queso. El servicio muy atento y amable. De verdad, una pasada de sitio. Unos 10€ el curry, 6-7€ los entrantes. ¡Volveremos a por más Dahi Puri!

Un buen lugar para degustar comida india y nepalí. Si te gusta la comida india y nepalí, en un ambiente tranquilo, no dudes en visitar este restaurante. Los camareros son muy amables y la comida permite degustar platos de todo tipo. Si te gusta la comida vegetariana, por ejemplo, tienes muchas opciones. Como bebida, el lassi de mango está espectacular, al igual que el kulfi, de postre. Las opciones de comida más o menos especiadas y más o menos picantes son también muy amplias. Es una muy buena opción para adentrarse en estos sabores de la comida indio-nepalí.

Lovely staff and central location with parking along the street outside. Tasty vegan alternatives available, and they even made a vegan onion bhaji especially for me as a starter. Dogs welcome in the outdoor area. We've visited this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed.

Fui a una celebración familiar y la comida me gustó mucho. Lo que más me gustó fueron los entrantes por ser distintos (palak chaat y dahi puri) y los langostinos chilly (picantes, pero sin ser excesivo) Comimos en la terraza exterior al lado de unos jardines. Está cerrada con toldos ya que suele dar el sol al medio día/por la tarde. Respecto a los precios, me parecieron correctos para la cantidad y calidad de los platos. El personal era amable, sin embargo, creo que el dueño debería controlar un poco las bromas que hace sobre el físico de la gente para hacerse el simpático.

The food was really good - and we know our Indian food. The service was friendly and helpful. We ate outside but the weather wasn’t great so the roof and sides were up. Not sure if that was the reason or not but atmosphere was lacking.

Group of 16 went to this restaurant . Others in the party had been before but not me. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Of course as with any restaurant it's the food you are interested in. I have to say it was delicious. My partner and I both had mild dishes, a korma and butter chicken with pualo rice and a naan each. Throughly enjoyed every last morsal...the bread mine being a peshawari naan was gainfully employed scraping the sauce up. Everyone seemed to ejoy the meal. Good value at 20euros a head including drinks. We never have a starter or desert. An unexpected bonus was a small glass of liqueur to end the meal. I'll go back if ever I get the chance.

Tucked away in the base of the apartment building, this a gem in Torrox. From the moment we sat down, the service was excellent and attentive. Every single dish we had was excellent; we especially liked the tandoori prawns and the palak paneer. The chicken biryani was top notch, and we had an excellent bottle of house red wine. This is primarily influenced by British Indian tastes, but excellent if you like that food!

This restaurant is so cool! Great service and even better food. So good I forgot to take pictures. For some context, my husband loves loves loves spicy hot hot curries! This restaurant did not disappoint, listened to their client and delivered (we left with some freshly picked home grown chillies) and even had a chat with the chef! Thoroughly recommend - if you are in either Torrox or Nerja and want a curry these restaurants are for you! You won’t be disappointed.

Pahuna tiene todo, un menú muy variado con unos platos riquísimos, típicos de India y Nepal. Calidad excepcional y atención de los camareros 10/10. Visited the sister restaurant in Nerja last year, came here this evening not knowing they were the same business - we could not be happier. The Nerja restaurant was one of the best Indian meals I have ever had, and this place is just as good. If you’re in Torox and love Indian food then make this your first choice of places to try.

My boyfriend refused the free 'chupito' when paying because he was driving. He got an alcohol-free chupito instead, that was very thoughtful. We would certainly go back. Impresionante atención de los camareros. No sabíamos ni por dónde empezar, le pedimos recomendación y dijo que él se encargaba. Sin duda la comida no decepciona, una mezcla de sabores increíble combinada con una atención inmejorable. Sin duda acertamos con la elección del restaurante. Los dos platos que más me han gustado han sido estos dos, pero el pollo al curry con coco y anacardos es una auténtica salvajada.

Es la primera vez que vamos a un restaurante Nepales, le pedimos que nos aconsejará sobre que pedir, y nos dijo que si queríamos pediría el por nosotros y nos traería un poco variado sobre lo que tenían. A 2 nos gustaba el picante 🌶️ así que nos trajo un poco de cordero, un poco de pollo, un plato que picaba, para la niña nos preguntó que si queríamos le hacían arroz con huevo para ella y un postre nepalés, de precio bastante bueno y terminamos bien comidos. El personal del restaurante es encantador se preocupa por el más minimo detalles y porque estés comodo, las sillas son muy cómodas. Tras comer allí, entiendo la puntuación que tienen volveremos al 100%. Por cierto ves que está bueno cuando no te ha dado tiempo ni de hacerle una foto a la comida jajaja.

El trato al cliente fue perfecto. Los camareros son muy agradables y amables, te hacen sentir muy cercana. Le pondría un 100, pero solo me deja ponerle 5 estrellitas.

Amplitud en la distribución de las mesas que permite cierta intimidad o no tener la sensación de comedor.

Excellent indian / Nepalese restaurant, recommended to us by several residents from Frigiliana area. It is easy to find being located just off the main Torrox Costa Road, set a few rows back from the sea front, adjacent to a grassed garden area. Three of us had papudoms, starters and mains, all very tasty with some extra spicy dishes available. Service was friendly and efficient with a complimentary drink offered at the end of the meal. Very reasonably priced, total bill 79 euros (and this included 2 rounds of drinks, mixed soft and alcoholic.beverages) In our opinion, having visited Frigiliana for 10 years, the best indian food in the Nerja area. Don't be put off that the restaurant is not on the main strip, the excellent food more than makes up for lack of sea view. We will definitely return.

Het is lastig sterren te geven. De voorgerechten waren fantastisch (5 sterren) Rijk van smaak en ik kon niet wachten op het hoofdgerecht. Het hoofdgerecht (dahl met rijst en naan) was echter flauw en karig en de rijst was duidelijk verwarmd in de magnetron, rubberachtige substantie, de kip van mijn partner was droog en smakeloos. Service onzeker. Omdat het hoofdgerecht zo tegenviel kom ik helaas op 3 sterren uit. Jammer, het begon zo veelbelovend.

Bueno no, bueniiiiisimo!!!. Cenamos hace dos días y nos encantó. La comida exquisita, el servicio muy bueno y los camareros y encargado muy agradables. Nos hicieron recomendación de menú porque era la primera vez que íbamos y fue todo un acierto. El precio muy normal cenamos 5 personas y no llegó a 90 euros con bebidas etc....Sin duda repetiremos cuando volvamos a Torrox.

Melwin, es el mejor recomendando qué pedir, es un restaurante con una cocina 100% auténtica Hindú.

¡Increíblemente bueno! Muy recomendable, el pan naan, es de los mejores que me he comido. El pollo tikimasala riquísimo, y el servicio excepcional, son majisimos.

Ik heb mijn verjaardag hier gevierd met 8 pers. We hebben de kok de vrije hand gegeven wat de voorafjes en hoofdmaaltijd betreft. Het was in 1 woord geweldig. Eten was zo smakelijk, top. Bediening bijzonder aardig, gastvrij. Ook was alles super schoon en verzorgd (incl.toilet).

Un gran lugar para comer en Torrox, en los últimos años hemos ido varias veces y nunca nos ha fallado. Comida rica, fiel a la hindú y Nepalí, buen servicio y buen precio. Lo recomiendo.

Vores venner var begejstrede for stedet, så vi besøgte det, og vi er ligeså begejstrede: betjeningen er fantastisk varm og imødekommende, og maden er spændende og superlækker. Portionerne er store. Vi anbefaler at deles om forskellige retter og tilbehør, så man får mulighed for at smage så mange slags som muligt. Priserne er meget overkommelige.

Comida hindú de calidad en Torrox Costa. Nos dejamos asesorar por uno de los camareros y acertamos de pleno. Pedimos para dos: un entrante, un plato de cordero y otro de pollo y como acompañante, arroz y pan naan con queso. Todo espectacular y muy sabroso. Para repetir sin ninguna duda

La comida es muy auténtica y deliciosa. Te regalan un aperitivo con salsas variadas. Recomendable platos como el arroz, pollo tika massala, pollo con curry para los que os guste el picante. Camareros amables y atentos

Increíble, estábamos de vacaciones y nos decantamos por entrar a cenar. Estaba todo riquísimo, nos atendieron genial, fueron muy amables. Os recomiendo no perder la oportunidad de entrar y disfrutar de su cocina. Un sitio para volver siempre que visitemos la ciudad.

Liten og enkel restaurant sentralt i Torrox Costa. Ligger nær veien, men det var stille og rolig å sitte ute. Svært oppmerksom og serviceinnstilt betjening. Maten vi bestilte var svært god. Mørt og saftig kjøtt, god smak på sausene og tilbehør som ris, nan og papadum var perfekt. Kommer tilbake.

Destacamos realmente convencidos los 3 ámbitos principales de este sitio. Son muy simpáticos, te atienden muy bien y con educación, en una terraza fresca con muy buen espacio para las mesas, fresco y agradable. En cuanto a la comida, es sorprendentemente casera, rica y variada. Platos clásicos con sabor casero, raciones perfectas y adaptadas al picante que generalmente solemos soportar aquí. The Indian restaurant we used to go to changed their recipes and their service lacked of quality so we had to find a new Indian restaurant and we are so glad we did. This one is even better and the staff is so nice. Prices are more than fine for food of this quality. Portions are also good. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely coming back!

Una muy buena cocina, y un trato excelente tanto del dueño como del camarero. Fuimos cinco a comer, los vegetales malabar y el pollo tika Masala, excelentes. Algo complicado el aparcamiento, pero un lugar a repetir, volveremos.

Fantastic Indian and Nepalese food!! We ordered food twice during our visit to Torrox. The highlights were: the Palak chaat appetizer (!!), the onion bhajee, all of the chutneys (amazing!), the salmon poleko, the veg malabar, the garlic chicken tikka, and the garlic cheese naan. So, so good!! The mushroom rice isn’t anything special and not worth the extra cost. The garlic naan is fine, but it doesn’t compare to the garlic cheese naan. If you request spicy, beware: they will make it spicy!! Highly recommend. We will be back!!

La comida espectacular y el servicio rápido y muy bueno

Another wonderful evening at Pahuna last night. The Mitho Momos (dumplings) were as delicious as ever followed by spicy Sherpa Chicken which was quite possibly the best I've had there. It's not just about the amazing food though. It's the warm, friendly greeting on arrival, the impeccable service throughout and the unhurried, relaxed ambience that keep us returning time and time again. A big thank you to all the team at Pahuna Torrox Costa!!

Just had the best Indian meal. All the dishes were so fresh would thoroughly recommend anyone in the area to try here. You won't be disappointed. If we were here for longer, we would definitely be visiting again!!

The food is very tasty. There is something for everyone, even for those who like their plates flaming hot. It is owned by a very nice family. They are very good and honest people ! We really enjoyed it.

First time here but we will certainly return. The waiters were friendly and polite and very attentive. The food was all delicious and generous portions. We sat in the covered outside area which was very comfortable with a through breeze to keep us cool on a very hot evening.
