As well as can be considering the Spanish Government controls what Retired service members can purchase. We don't have the same privileges as Active Duty and other Government Employees hete in Spain. What an agreement the US Government has made with Spanish Government!

Decent selection, little light in their boys clothes. Also the electronics selection is pretty hit and miss. Most stuff can be shipped to store here though so that helps. The staff are very friendly. Update: bought a printer here, they discontinued the ink despite still selling the printers.... If you need electronics make sure you have a back up plan because odds are if you buy something here you'll have to order elsewhere any parts/ink/cords.

If you are moving here from a major base like Norfolk, San Diego or Mayport, this is not the same kind of Mega NEX like those bases. There are going to be items that you can't get and sometimes there is a limited selection of items. The NEX here however has decent selection and you can order items online and have them shipped here. The staff is always very friendly. Prices here are decent! No complaints!

The Nfcu ATM 'never' is operational on Monday morning. One would think the Nex wouldn't want to lose a sale because of this inconvenience to its customers. If the stores open your front door ATM should be too.

It really doesn't have a great selection. Shoes for example, seemed to be in short supply in both variety and individual items. There's an area for military clothing, but it's not a separate store. There is also a very small food court.

This is the worst Exchange I’ve ever been to. Lack of items. Lack of hours. You have to leave the building to go to the Spanish gift center or the eating area. Need beach sandals since you live within a mile of the beach? They don’t have it. Need to go christmas shopping during the holiday season? I hope you’re only looking for Christmas cards. Want supplements or protein bars? Not here.

For an OCONUS military exchange, it's not too bad. It had everything ya need for the home in regards to all the basic stuff. It had everything I needed for a 6.5 month deployment and stay in Navy Gateway. It was quite pleasant.

Typical NEX, it's great to have access to well priced goods and the familiarities from home. Definitely recommend if you're in need of some items you'd usually look for in the states. (Keep in mind you'll need to be prior service to shop here)

Los productos están exentos de IVA y no pagan aduana ni el transporte etc. No pueden comprar ni españoles, ni jubilados americanos. La tienda es bastante variada pero los precios son un poco excesivos si los comparas con los supermercados de la zona. Los productos no suelen ser tan saludables como los españoles (azúcar, grasas saturadas y aditivos de más). Por ejemplo: Grey Goose a 20$ está en su precio habitual, pero 4$ por una bolsa de Doritos azules (aunque pone "organic" no eran más sanos) es un poco caro. En el apartado de productos para el gimnasio había mucha oferta de suplementos y proteínas y eso se agradece. El trato de los empleados está genial. Sí volvería.

Good overseas Exchange. Is this the Ramstein Exchange? No. Does it have a good selection of products at normal Exchange prices and all the other "typical" stuff in an overseas Exchange? Yes. Its kept clean, the customer service desk is great, you can get cheap SIM cards that work all over Spain right when you show up and the electronics section is pretty on point as well. 5 stars because honestly... its doing the best that it can with what it has.

The Exchange is a great place to go find things you can't find out in the local area for a good price especially when they have sales. The employees are nice and helpful when you can find one to help you, they always seem to be under staffed.

Don't get a haircut here. Stick to out in town and pay more. 2/2 times they have not given me close to what I wanted and when I try to get it corrected they rush me out of their chair even when there was no line. I don't think they know how to use scissors or speak English. I guess if you want a high and tight you'll be fine but I wouldn't advise it if you want anything else. The hair on the left side of my head is almost an inch longer than the right side and the "fade" in the back looks like it was done by Michael J Fox. Going out in town to get it fixed and never coming back.
