Wow, wow, wow, wow! Celia and team were perfect. They totally understood us as a couple and the style of photography we were after -- all while making us feel completely at ease on the day. We're yet to see all the photos (we only got married 4 weeks ago so not a negative at all) but the ones that we have received so far have been incredible. Thank you for making us feel special!

To say Celia was absolutely amazing is to say nothing! The photos from our special day look like they’re out of Vogue — we still can’t believe that it’s us in them! Everyone we show them to is absolutely stunned and says those are the best wedding photos they have ever seen :) We can't thank Celia enough for the amazing memories she has created for us, which will soon decorate our new home!

Celia did two photoshoots for our family - a very small but intimate wedding and pregnancy! Both times were incredible and left a bittersweet taste after they ended. We wished to have her with us on our baby boy’s 1st B-day but she moved from Netherlands (which was a big loss). We miss you!🤍

Not only did she capture the most beautiful, authentic, magazine-style photos of us and our families, but her and her boyfriend (videographer) are also so kind, fun to be around and professional. I traveled all the way from Texas to Amsterdam for a couples photoshoot with Celia and she was incredible!! It was intimidating to be traveling so far from home and paying someone I’d never met but she was so kind, helped me discuss colors of outfits for the background we would he shooting in, locations and time of day BUT best of all.. actually helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera while also helping directing us. It was just so natural from start to finish. I can’t wait to go back one day and have her help us create more photo magic with our kids!! She’s simply the best and I’m so grateful we found her!! She is a TRUE artist and worth the investment. Our shoot was from 3 years ago and these are still some of my favorite pictures that decorate my walls.

I didn't found the place, I ring the bell of the main building asking for the shop but I've been told "the activity is closed from about 4 years". Anyway, I discovered it's not a shop but the home address of a private wedding photographer, my fault.

Celia was AMAZING. My partner and I did the 'sweet little memories' shoot and loved every moment of it. We had such fun on our shoot with Celia. She is very easy going and relaxed but also super organised. Celia is such an attentive, talented and natural photographer. My partner and I were pretty nervous going into the experience having never had professional photos taken before. But Celia completely put us at ease with her easy going vibe and her unique non-invasive style of working. She is also really collaborative and is open to suggestions while simultaneously giving them. My boyfriend and I did a photoshoot with Celia on the beach. It was really nice and she is super good in what she does. I love all her pictures and editing, also the ones I saw in Amsterdam. We used Celia for our maternity photoshoot to capture our first pregnancy. We were quite nervous because this was our first photoshoot. She handled everything with professionalism while making use feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We shared many laughs and good moments together creating this shoot in the tulip fields of the Netherlands. We were given more than we could have asked for as an end result. My husband and I cried together looking at our pictures because she was able to capture us in the best way! She is the photographer to use while you are in the Netherlands!! On a short trip to Amsterdam me and my boyfriend picked Celia as photographer for our first couple shooting. We couldn’t make a better decision! WOW - Celia is an AMAZING photographer to work with! She has been nothing but professional upon the first contact to offering tips on what is more ideal to wear and etc. She offer to sit down to coffee/tea to get to know us better (mind you, this is not included in the 1 hour shoot time which shows how much she care about her clients) and bought us handwarmers to use during the shoot (Ours is in Dec). She made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun during the shoot. We received the edits unexpectedly fast and were blown away by how the photos turn out. Even our friends were amazed by the amazing quality and beautiful takes! I HIGHLY recommend her if you wish to do any shoots in Europe. She is currently based by Amsterdam which is where we had our shoot.

Celia has been an absolute DREAM to work with! If I could give her a million stars, I would. She captured an incredible engagement photoshoot for my fiancé and I on a rainy Amsterdam day - she made the whole experience so wonderful that we hired her to photograph our wedding a couple months later! My boyfriend and I had the BEST photoshoot with Celia while visiting Amsterdam from Philadelphia. I felt like I was hanging out with a friend and just taking photos, they came out absolutely breath taking. We printed out a bunch to frame in our apartment and even used one of the photos for our Christmas card, will be using her again when we are back!!

Celia is amazing and we would be happy to recommend her photography service!! My boyfriend and I found her through instagram and contacted her a week before for an-hour photoshoot. In the week before the shoot, she was very proactive and gave us a lot of tips and suggestions on the outfit and the location. When we met her, she’s exactly like we imagined. She’s very cheerful and indeed a very talented photographer. She made us very comfortable during the photoshoot. She let us do anything we wanted and she did all the work to capture the moments between us. Exactly two days after the shoot, she sent us the edited pictures for us to download and we were (and still are) in awe of the pictures. Celia fromThe Lightbox Tales is an amazing photographer, a fun person, and a maker of magic. I shot with her an hour after I arrived to Amsterdam, and it was the best welcoming. We wandered around the city, and she blended a great mix of letting me be myself, and guiding me toward the direction of creating a great photo. There were a few spots that we had in mind to shoot at, but one of my favorite parts of the shoot was when we were crossing the street and she unexpectedly started taking my picture and letting the street crossing become part of our photo shoot. They even turned out to be some of my favorite photos! She really knows when to take advantage of a situation to create the beautiful images she does. I can't recommend her enough, and hope to see her again sometime--and if I'm lucky, do another shoot with her!

Me and my friends love her works so much. She can capture the best of Amsterdam even when back then it was raining all day. Oh my. Where do I begin? Let's just start with how wonderful and perfect my experience with the talented Celia Almaraz was. From the moment I reached out to her, I knew I had found someone special. She listened to my ideas and brought them to life in a way that I never could have imagined. And in the meantime, she was even conspiring with my now fiancé to plan a surprise proposal! After a fun shoot in the city of Amsterdam, we took a drive to the beach where their plan unfolded. It was truly magical and I am so happy that Celia was a part of it. It just felt meant to be. I mean before it was over, all three of us were in tears! I just can't say enough good things about Celia. Her talent is unmatched and her presence is so charming. Me and my mom had the most wonderful time working with Celia. We wanted to do a special mother and daughter photoshoot, and Celia is definitely the right person for this job. Celia helped me to organise and execute a photo shoot of my surprise proposal to my girlfriend on the canals of Amsterdam. Originally form the Uk, I found & contacted Celia via Instagram. From start to finish nothing was too much, we messaged each other for about a week or so prior to the shoot discussing various details as well as possible locations. Even though on the day of the shoot it looked like the weather was going to ruin everything, Celia was always understanding and willing to suggest solutions. In the end everything went better than i could’ve ever imagined. I received the pictures of the shoot the next morning without any prompting and all i could say is ‘WOW’, her work is simply breathtaking. Thank you again x

Celia was amazing🌟 She is so kind and friendly and give hugs. She is absolutely special girl, it was my first photoshoot but I didn’t feel shy or inconvenience. We have a relaxing walk around Amsterdam and funny conversation. When The time was over, she helped me come back to hotel. Highly recommend!! Celia is lovely, incredibly talented and so amazing to work with. Shooting with her is so natural and fun. I thought I might feel awkward or whatever but it wasn't like that at all. She had great ideas for poses and angles, and she hypes you up like no one else, haha. Celia is simply the best ! I asked if we could do a photo shoot with a clothing brand I brought from Buenos Aires and she said yes, she even recommended a model, Naomi, who was such a pleasure to work with. Celia is funny, helpful and she puts everything on her work, she knows what she’s doing ! I showed some references of what I wanted but I barely had to give any instructions , she’s amazing and so professional. When my hubby and i looked for a free and easy couple photographer in Amsterdam, i found you!! @thelightboxtales. you are so friendly, fun and talented - - - - - She was super friendly and fast in responding when i messaged her via Instagram, and both of us were keeping in contact for the past one month. she helped me with the color choosing for the shirt we gonna wear, and gave me some creative concepts for the photo shooting. we both are super excited! haha! and finally it’s 18 December!! i cant wait to see her and do the photoshooting to explore the beautiful city! 📸 Me and my hubby had a 2 hours blast of photo-shooting session with @thelightboxtales.
