I usually recommend to set the session during a dress rehearsal (for some rehearsal shots) or the show depending on the needs, or ideally for both. We will have to talk about the length of your show/concert, the type of show and what you want from the session, and the type of venue/lighting we have available.

My name is Mattia.I’m a passionate theatre photographer based in Barcelona, fluent in both Spanish and English, specializing in capturing the magic of live West End shows, live music concerts, fringe shows,  theatrical productions, circus, dramatic and comedic performances across the city's vibrant performing arts scene.

I’ve had the privilege of working in iconic venues like the Globe Theatre, Soho Theatre, luxury cruises such as Virgin Cruises and Greenwich theatre in London amongst others, and across the renowned West End, providing event photography that not only promotes shows but also immortalizes their most unforgettable moments.

With years of experience in theatre photography, I work with both established productions and emerging artists, providing professional live show photography, rehearsal shots, and promotional images for theatre companies, with prices starting from 150 euros.

As a solo-performer myself, I understand that doing a show is highly stressful, whether it's a concert, a play or a circus show. My main priority is that you feel as comfortable as possible, whether you're on stage or behind the scenes.

My aim is to take pictures that are emotionally powerful. I don't count my shots. Capturing the essence of a show is hard, and in order to do that it requires taking pictures from many angles, being creative and focused on your art.

After the session, I will edit the pictures according to your needs and my understanding of the vibe of the show and I will send them to you. This usually can take between three working days and two weeks.

My goal is to make your production look not only professional but also more high-end and captivating, ensuring that every image reflects the passion and creativity behind the performance.

The number of pictures changes depending on the venue, the number of performers, the type of show and your requirements. It can vary between twenty and fifty pictures (and above).
