Danny helped me with headshots for my new website. He scheduled me promptly and worked with me through the process. Even though I am not comfortable around cameras, Danny made the process easy and painless. He provided the finished product very quickly, and I am extremely pleased with the results. As part of an organised event, I got a 30 minute slot with Danny. Truth be told, it was only about 20 minutes in front of the camera after introductions, a quick chat, and a quick costume change. In those 20 minutes, however, I had some of the best photos of my career taken. DANNY FOR THE WIN! I could not recommend Danny enough - everyone in Barcelona who wants headshots that will BOOK you work and blow everyone away, use Danny. Danny was & is professional, organized, open-minded, kind, patient, fun, talented, had a clear vision for each shot and look, he knew how to communicate and direct me to get the shots he knew would be the best and most impactful, but also trusted me to bring what I needed from each character as well. He also collaborated with me during the shoot to make sure I was happy and got the shots I wanted which I appreciated very much. His shots capture the essence of who you are. They are raw, natural, unique, and go deeper than just a typical headshot. I am a Musical Theatre student and I chose to visit Danny for an educational and professional experience on getting my headshots taken. And that's exactly what I got. The studio had a great creative atmosphere and Danny made sure to make me feel welcome and was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The session was educational and interesting and I got a lot out of it. As we all probably know, headshots can be a strange experience but if you can find someone to make it feel..not so strange...then you've got something good on your hands. The aftermath of choosing the photos was again an interesting process and I greatly enjoyed working together to find which images were my strongest. Danny took professional headshots for our CEO for our rebranding and new product launch. Danny was impeccable at every stage of the project, he helped us to plan the shoot to get the variety of material we needed. He worked brilliantly with the makeup artist and stylist, communicating clearly what was needed at each step. He recommended an excellent second studio for us to take a different style of photo to the ones we took in his studio. And finally Christine was a bit nervous to have her photos taken, and Danny was incredibly calm and focused putting her at ease, and helping us to capture exactly what we wanted on the day. During the editing and post production process he gave clear advice to our inexperienced eyes and helped us to identify the best photos, and he was quick and timely on all deliveries. I've had the pleasure of working with Danny. He gave me impression of a person who really loves what he is doing. He was very professional and it was very easy to work with him. At first I thought that the price is quite high, but after the photoshoot I felt like he deserved every euro I paid. Our Barcelona office needed to update our website with high quality and consistent portraits of our team. We contacted Retratos Barcelona because we were impressed with their photos, and they were able to bring their studio to our office and take the photos here. The entire process was extremely smooth, with Danny helping advise our staff on how to prepare for the photoshoot. Danny also brought along a professional Makeup Artist to make our team look their best! Some of the team were nervous about being in front of the camera but Danny helped them to relax, before guiding and posing them through the photo shoot. We received the finished photos very soon after the shoot and couldn't be happier with the results! Our website now looks much more professional with the updated portraits! I’m a professional actor and stunt woman, and needed new headshots for my portfolio and my agent. I contacted Retratos Barcelona and have been very pleased with them. Danny (the photographer) helped me plan the photo session based on what I needed - a mix of studio and outdoor photos, and helped me prepare for the shoot (advice on what to wear etc). The photoshoot was really fun and Danny made me feel very relaxed and was great to work with! He is a perfectionist and helped direct me to get the best photos. I contacted Retratos Barcelona as the company where I work needed business headshots for our entire team. From the start Danny was very professional and helpful in advising us how to best prepare for the photoshoot. On the day of the shoot, he worked very efficiently and stuck to our tight schedule (we had +70 team members to photograph each day). All of our staff commented on how fun and easy it was to work with Danny, and they loved that they could see their photo immediately after the photoshoot (as they photos appeared on his laptop). It was a very good experience to work with Danny again. We met working on an event and ended up doing a couple of photo shoots together. They were very fun shoots, in a very relaxed atmosphere accompanied by music and good vibes. Danny usually guides you, giving you small tricks to get the best possible picture, giving you the freedom to put your essence in each of them. Danny did my professional photographs and I was really impressed with the way he works and the end results of the photographs. I am not used to being photographed and wasn't at all sure what I was doing but Danny gave me step by step instructions on how to stand for each photograph. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease and the whole experience was great. I would recommend him 100% to anyone who wants professional photographs.
