I had the pleasure to book this experience with Nico. We put into practice the basics of photography in exciting locations such as in La Boqueria and we followed in the center. Nico is a professional and you will be covering lots of concepts in an exciting fast-paced city, so it may be useful to bring something to take notes. Nico gave me recommendations about the lenses I might want to buy so I will take this experience again once I go back to Barcelona with my new lense. Christophe

My husband and I have taken 10 photography workshops during our travels, most of them are hosted by photojournalists. The instructors' teaching styles are varied, but we find Nicolás to be very engaging and his teaching techniques a great fit for us. Somewhat uncommon but really helpful for us was seeing the instructor share his own takes at various locales with us, and then taking time to critique our shots at every point. I often find it difficult to evaluate my own pix and having inputs from a professional makes a big difference. Also, my husband's camera was being onerous when shooting in manual mode, and we appreciate Nicolás' patience in trying to resolve them. I understand photographic tips and techniques are often optimized for the instructors' pre-selected tour sites and our 'mileage will vary' in general photography, but they are still fun to know. We highly recommend Nicolás to anyone looking for a professional to help with their photo skills!

Nico was awesome. Barcelona is such a photogenic city with great architecture, beautiful people, and infinite subjects for photographers. There is something for everyone! Having Nico showing us around was great. He’s an amazing photographer and he knows his art well. I learnt quite a few tricks from him in street photography during the tour. He took us to the best photography spots with the most interesting subjects, perfect lighting, and of course also regaled us with the story of each place we went to. Big shoutout to Nico for a fabulous photo tour!

Exploring Barcelona through "Nico's lens" was an absolute highlight of my trip! He took me to some really cool spots, sharing insider tips on composition, lighting, and camera settings along the way. But what really stood out was Nico's knack for storytelling. Such a good photography session with Nico around some secret spots in Raval area. Interesting composition tips to get the most of the light in the narrow streets or Boqueria market or capture eye-catching images of the skaters in the air. I do recommend this activity!!!

Nicolás was a great host. He showed me spots around Barcelona that I would not have found on my own. He took time to explain how to make pictures dramatic with different settings on my camera. He also shared his thought process on composing a photo.

One of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona! We did not know what to expect, but let me say it was like meeting up with a good friend that lives in Barcelona. Nico is knowledgable, friendly, patient, and above all - talented! He took us on a walking tour of the city while instructing us about how to use our DSLR (Nikon D5200) and our iPhones. We talked about Barcelona, Argentina, food, sports, family, and work. It truly felt like meeting up with a friend who taught us about photography. The private tour was just myself, my wife, and Nico for 2 hours. Afterwards, we continued to chat with Nico via WhatsApp as he gave us recommendations for the city. We would both highly recommend the tour!

I took your tour last Nov 2022. I have been applying the skills I learned from you even when I'm using my phone camera. Taking pictures using different perspectives and angles makes my photos more interesting!

He also showed me several places that correspond to my interests to exploit a beautiful natural light in the streets of Barcelona. My kids (9 and 11) and me had an excellent photo workshop tour with Nico. We are all beginners, and Nico taught us easy-to-use photo-shooting tips that we can also easily use with our mobile phones. We had a great chat, Nico knows a lot about the city, its history and culture. He is excellent with kids and has a great sense of humour. This is truly a must have tour in Barcelona.

What a fantastic morning! Nico was very welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. The morning flew by, and I learned so much, and saw so many hidden corners of Barcelona too.
