I can’t say enough good things about Svetlana and if you’re thinking about booking her, just do it. I’ve been searching high and low for someone to capture more editorial photos and Svetlana is that person. We did our shoot in the gothic (I really wanted a more dramatic moment) and the photos could not be more gorgeous. We got exactly what we wanted (and SO, so much more)! We started a little late due to weather and she stayed with us until she caught all of the moments we expressed we wanted. We booked Svetlana about a month and a half ago and from the start I knew it was going to be a good experience. Great communication, on time, flexible - all the things you want in someone capturing such a vulnerable moments in your life. Apparently it rains like ~60/365 days a year in Barcelona and low and behold, we woke up to a gloomy rainy day. Naturally, I freaked out and messaged Svetlana and she assured me that she could capture us. I was so hesitant in the beginning, but I think our photos came out even better because it was raining/overcast. Listen to what she says, it can feel awkward, but she knows what she’s doing. Our biggest learning during our session was weather doesn’t matter - the photographer does and you can’t go wrong picking Svetlana. We had a wonderful experience with Svetlana! She is very skilled at making you feel comfortable with various poses and using the limited shoot time efficiently. While organizing our session she was always quick to respond as well. We received many more photos than expected after our one-hour session and loved them all!

Svetlana was our photographer for a surprise proposal while staying in Barcelona. She was very professional and had patience guiding us through the photo shoot. She would remind us to stay in the moment instead of worrying about posing for the camera. My fiancee and I are shy in front of the camera and she was still able to take amazing pictures. Two years ago Svetlana photographed us for the first time. She always responses very quickly. The most important aspect for us is that she really helpes you to feel comfortable in front of the camera - something we are not used to. We found the pictures (which we received quickly) amazing. They are spontaneous and just like we really are. We also love the 'mood' she captures.
