Hiking Ibiza | The Other Face

This was a well worthwhile thing to do. Our guide Marc was a legend and very knowledgeable about the wildlife as well as the terrain. If you come to Ibiza, I would definitely put this on the list of things to do... I would put it very near the top

This hike was everything I hoped for and more. The trail was scenic, and offered just the right balance between challenge and enjoyment. The views along the way, especially at the summit, were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fun facts about the local plants and wildlife while making sure everyone felt safe and included. I left feeling refreshed, energized, and so grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable outdoor adventure!

It was the absolute best experience! Had a really great time. I did a 2.5h hike and a bonus swim in little cove. The views were incredible and the hike was adapted to health issues I mentioned. Communication with the team was super easy and friendly! And my guide, Donovan, was really incredible! We’ve already been on four hikes with The Other Face, all different levels, and even one with our 8-year-old son. If you come back four times, you know it’s really good! :-) Donovan is amazing from the very beginning: super responsive, very helpful with tips on which hikes are best for your group and closest to where you’re staying, and he sends you a clear link with the exact meeting point in advance. Communication is excellent. The hikes themselves are just incredible, you get to see the most unique and breathtaking spots in Ibiza that you’d never find on your own, enriched with fun stories and local knowledge. Such a special way to experience the island! Highly recommended, we would suggest this to anyone visiting Ibiza. We can’t wait to be back in September!

We loved it so much that we actually joined two trekking tours with The Other Face of Ibiza in just one week – and both were absolutely incredible. Each hike revealed a different side of the island: hidden coves, breathtaking viewpoints, and crystal-clear waters where we swam in spots you could never reach on your own. A very special mention goes to Mark, our guide – knowledgeable, passionate, and full of positive energy. He made every moment memorable, sharing stories, local insights, and making sure everyone enjoyed the adventure safely. Last but not least, he took amazing photos along the way, giving us memories to treasure forever.! If you want to discover the real, untouched Ibiza, this is an absolute must. I am so pleased with how my morning turned out thanks to Marc from The Other Face. I reached out late in the evening after the other company had to cancel my planned hike unexpectedly. The experience was magnificent and the Origin option is really a great first timers’ hike to fall in love with Eivissa. I did this as a solo hike and Marc was the best hike guide. I highly recommend The Other Face and can’t wait to do more with them. I love that they are true locals from the island and the only company!

Io e le mie amiche abbiamo scelto come escursione la “Lunar Territory”.. Semplicemente vi posso dire che è stata un’esperienza fantastica, la più emozionante che abbiamo fatto ad Ibiza. Marc è stato gentilissimo e molto disponibile, tra una chiacchierata e qualche risata il sentiero è stato molto gradevole e Marc è sempre stato attentissimo durante il tragitto. Le piscine naturali sono fantastiche, è stata un’esperienza caratterizzata da tranquillità e immersa nella natura, alla fine del tragitto abbiamo fatto un bagno nelle splendide acque e ci sono state date maschere per vedere il fondale. Consiglio a tutti questa esperienza se si viene a Ibiza e si vuole vedere la parte più incontaminata e bella dell’Isola.

Wauw! Beter kan in het niet omschrijven. Ik deed de Lunar Trail met Marc. Een offroad wandeling die me met momenten echt uitdaagde (geen ervaring op dit soort terrein). Klimmen over rotsen, pittige afdalingen, maar geen moment was ik op mijn ongemak. Marc weet heel veel over de natuur, fauna & flora. Maar hij geeft je ook voldoende momenten om helemaal tot jezelf te komen. Genoten van iedere seconde. Jullie zien me zeker nog terug. Keep on doing the good job guys, showing people the other face of Ibiza. Love it! ❤️

What a lovely sunset experience I had with Donovan! I was having a really tough couple of days and I needed to get into nature. Being able to disconnect from technology and the busy life of Ibiza and really reconnect with the nature was exactly what I needed! Having a private tour, made it super special because I could ask all of my questions about the birds and the plants and the rocks. He was so attentive and kind throughout our hike! We went from climbing down rocks to swimming in natural pools, listening to the waves crash against the rocks! Watching the sunset was one of the best moments. Just releasing all of the craziness from my past to embrace what’s to come in this future. Thank you so much for all of your help and kindness. Really nice hike, with awesome guidance!

What a way to spend a day. We reached out to this company in order to put together an experience taylored to us. We outlined what we were looking for and let them do the planning. It was perfect. Marc met with us as requested, provided us two options, and off we went. The pickup location was near a local bird conservation. It was a wonderful way to see birds in their habitat. We even saw some newly hatched babies. Had some breakfast and then off on a hike. The hike was definitely challenging - it's the one we chose, and we are more out of shape than normal. Marc did a great job guiding us and going at a pace that worked. We were rewarded with one of the most beautiful coves we have seen and swam in. It was perfect. Stopped off at a lovely lunch restaurant and had a delicious Spanish omelette. Then taken to our drop off point. Marc did a fabulous job of explaining things, giving us options, touring us around and discussing all topics that my curious mind came up with. Can't say enough about how spectacular this was. Would definitely recommend, and strongly suggest that you take the opportunity to see "The Other Side" of this spectacular island. We are in love with this place!

Wow what can I say this hike was the BEST ! Even before we went on the hike Donavan was so helpful and communicative checking our experience and fitness level, directing us to the starting point . From there we went on the most fantastic hike right up to the top of mountain and then all the way back down in caves helping us constantly along the way when it was tricky and always checking we were ok ,it was so beautiful and exciting , Donavan was a fantastic photographer along the way and very knowledgeable about the location , he really knew how to keep it exciting for us suggesting alternative routes that were a bit more challenging here and there making us get the best of the whole experience. Please do not hesitate to book with this company we really did have the best day and would like thank Donavan again for being very professional and experienced and very fun to lead our hike will definitely be back next year !!!

Amazing! Mark was our guide on a hike called the Enchanted valley. It was absolutely wonderful. Mark not only took us on one of the most beautiful routes on the island, he also knows a lot about nature, plants and birds. Highly recommend this if you like a more technical hike, and you want to see unspoiled nature.

What a wonderful morning hike with Donovan! Wonderful views and just the right amount of easy and less easy terrain. We really enjoyed having Donovan’s guidance on the trail and his insights on the local landscape, floral and fauna.

The best way to visit a place is with local guides, especially if they add fun time and lots of adventures! I truly recommend hiking with The Other Face because you can discover hidden spots with no one else around, far from marked trails and chaos, see the island from another point of view beyond any expectations! Brilliant independent hiking company.

Our recent hike was a wonderfully peaceful experience. We walked and swam in secluded spots, enjoying the tranquility and solitude. The landscapes were otherworldly, resembling the moon and Mars. Our guide, Donovan, was excellent. He took beautiful, spontaneous photos, creating lovely memories of our adventure. For a quiet escape into unique terrains, I highly recommend this hike. Donovan’s guidance and photography make it even more special.

Donovan is simply amazing! He tailored the hike to my fitness level and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. We hiked to some secret coves and spots that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. Una bonita experiencia, para repetir sin duda

We went on a hike with Marc on June 12, 2023. We let him decide the best hike for our group based on our skill level and shoes. We went to a beautiful isolated cove for snorkelling, then climbed a trail along the side of the cliff back to our starting point. We really enjoyed the hike and there were unbelievable views along the way. I would highly recommend The Other Face for anyone wanting to see lesser-explored places of Ibiza!

Definitely book a hike with this company, you won't regret it. The booking process was easy and communication was quick from beginning to end . The route I chose was slightly more challenging than I expected it but the reward was well worth it and our guide Marc made it easy for us to get through the tricky parts. Pack some sturdy shoes and some water and you'll see some of the most incredible views in Ibiza.

This was a fantastic tour! Donovan is a very knowledgable and skillful guide who showed me the breathtaking views around Es Vedra. He took me to fascinating spots which are ideal for taking cool, memorable fotos. I immediately booked another route with him. Absolutely recommend it. The company offers to bring their photographer on the tour to make and edit professional photos. I would recommend booking this option as the views and locations are very unique.

Thank you so much to Donovan for such an amazing day that we will never forget! We were collected from our hotel and taken to our hiking destination, then led on a great hike to snorkel in a secluded cove and then on to watch the sunset. Snorkel and sea-shoes were provided. We wore sports trainers for the hike and this was fine, although some bits may have been better in hike shoes if you have them. During the hike we really enjoyed chatting with Donovan about the island, the nature and fun things to do in Ibiza. We have some excellent memories and photos that we will cherish forever! If you are in Ibiza you have to do this - we will definitely be back! 😊

Absolutely fantastic tour! We would never have been able to see today’s secret parts of Ibiza without Marc’s guidance and expertise! Such a gorgeous and fun experience that we will never forget. Great company too and Marc went the extra mile to show us as much as we could manage in the time we had, always checking in what we could/couldn’t manage catering for our capabilities and keeping us safe in our footings. We took a taxi to meet Marc and he very kindly then drove us to the beach afterwards too which meant we could easily order our taxi back to our hotel. Absolutely a brilliant experience which I highly reccomend if you are visiting Ibiza!!
